Driving

As in most European countries, traffic in Italy is on the right hand side of the road.

The legal age for driving is 18 and you should carry your licence with you while you are driving.

A foreign driver’s licence is valid for one year but check whether this is valid in Italy or whether you are required to obtain an international driving licence.
