Religion

The main religion in Italy is Roman Catholic and the Vatican City, the seat of the Catholic Church, is in Rome.

There are other minor religious communities present and some of these such as the Islamic community have been growing in recent years with the arrival of immigrant workers mainly from North Africa and the Middle East.
